Rest assured, our natural latex is washed thoroughly, so it arrives spotless. Because it’s harvested straight from rubber trees, you may notice some delightful nuances that speak to its organic origins.

Here’s what to expect:

1. Subtle Surface Discolourations

Light patches or marbling are perfectly normal. Some batches may appear lighter than others, and even layers of the same type can differ in shade. These variations are a natural part of the material’s unique character

2. Mild Rubber-Tree Scent

A few people detect a faint, earthy aroma; most don’t notice it at all. Once encased in your mattress, it virtually disappears.

3. Textural Variations

Small differences in firmness or finish from one area to another. Some areas may also have less baking pin holes than other areas.

4. Tiny Charred Specks

Occasional dark flecks caused by baking-pin contact, nothing to worry about
